At 8-Tracks Photography LLC, our passion is bringing out the inner you. Our belief is that everyone is photogenic. Everyone has a good side. Every person, every pet, every city, every slice of pie or cup of coffee; everything has the potential to be beautiful.
For some people this comes naturally. For others, a deeper connection is needed to get that perfect photograph. Sure, you've worked with other photographers in the past, but at the end of the day, did you love it?
About Hansel
Our founder and lead photographer, Hansel Smyth, has over a decade of experience in the industry and specializes in portraiture, live, and product photography.
His greatest photographic idol is famous 70s music photographer Mick Rock. Whether it was a studio session or a concert shoot, Rock's goal was to capture the soul or the essence of whatever was in front of him. Hansel aims to bring this same sense of curiosity and understanding to all projects he takes on.
When he's not on assignment, Hansel can be found doing media analysis on his latest hyperfixations and wearing out his David Bowie albums.
Company History
8-Tracks Photography LLC was initially founded to help out a friend undertaking his first North American tour. It proved to be a valuable experience for Hansel as he found a passion for photography and honed his skill while on the road.
